Hello everyone,

The craziness of the holidays has come to an end and the new year is here. Creating this character, I am trying to tackle several challenges. First and foremost I felt like I needed to show my ability to work across many artistic styles by adding a highly stylized character to my portfolio. I also wanted to show my knowledge of anatomy, by being able to distort and stylize it, while retaining a level of believability and realism. Next I wanted to incorporate as many of the great new tools in Zbrush 4R7 into one project as possible. On this character I have used micromesh, nanomesh, the zmodeler brush, insert brush, several curve brushes, tri-parts insert mesh brush as well as all of my normal sculpting brushes. This is 100% Zbrush at this point. So far I am really liking the results, check out the full size image here: https://static.wixstatic.com/media/bd5992_fc23cef1ba6949a688e1b78d569bcb5d.jpg , please let me know what you think.

Thanks!

-Joel
