I built this site to introduce myself and show you some of the work I have done as a character artist. I hope you enjoy it and please feel free to contact me with any questions or thoughts you might have. All of my contact info can be found on the contact page of this site.

Art and video games are in my blood. In fact, some of my earliest memories are of watching my mother paint and my great grandfather service his arcade machines. Art has always been an important part of my life and is at the core of who I am. As soon as I was able to pick up a pencil I began drawing and have always been drawn to characters. Since then I have grown much as an artist and my skills have expanded to include a variety of mediums both digital and traditional.

My understanding of anatomy and topology and how they relate to other disciplines further down the pipeline allows me to create a wide variety of functional, efficient characters. My background in fine art also gives me a unique perspective and a strong foundation of core art skills and principles. Of course, I know that there are always new ways to learn and improve and I constantly strive to evolve and develop new skills.

I hold a bachelor's degree in game art from Full Sail University, where I graduated among the top in my class. Upon graduation I received the Advanced Achievement Award, as well as the Course Director's Award for Art Creation for Games and the Course Director's Award for Level Assembly and Lighting.

My skills include, but are not limited too:

Zbrush, Photoshop, Maya, Topogun, 3DCoat, CrazyBump, xNormal, UDK, Marvelous Designer, Substance Designer, character creation, high poly sculpting, low poly modeling, UV unwrapping, map baking, texturing, digital painting, traditional drawing, painting and sculpting, rigging and animation
